Itinerary :

Day 01 Marrkech to Imlil Valley – Trek to Oussertek

After a transfer to the village of Oukeimden, where we enjoy panoramic views over toubkal mountains 4170 m, we meet our mules to carry our food and bags, with their muleteer and our trek cook, we start our trek. We walk from Oukeimden (2400m) towards Gueliz village, hereby passing by Tizi n Oukeimden. We will have lunch with a berber family at Agadir village (2000m). After lunch continue down across berber villages and terraced fields, we may see berbers cultivating fruits, corns, barley, or harvesting walnuts, berber women with their cows holding their handles of herbs on their backs, to Oussertekt. Later we arrive at Oussertek (1600m) where we will spend the night in a local gite. Approx. 4 hours walking.

Day 02 – Trek to Tachddirt

We depart from Oussertek valley up to tizi n tighaten, beautiful views from the pass, we cross, juniper amnd oak forests, we trek down to Imnan Valley, hereby we pass the Berber village Ikkiss (1700m) an authentic village with beautiful architecture, we have our lunch under the trees of walnuts. We then continue along the valley to Tachedirt, beautiful berber villages (1800m) . We will spend the night in a local gite in Tachddirt (1800m).

Approx. 6 to 7 hours walking.

Day 03 Trek to Imlil – Marrakech

Explore Imlil village and surrounding valleys.

Day 04 Trek to Imlil – Marrakech

We depart from Tacheddirt village 1980m to tizi n tamatert 2300m across terraced fields where you may see local berber cultivating barley, alfalfa, berber women carrying bundles of grass, and walk down to imlil across juniper and cypress forest, the most famous village of the high ATLAS (1740m) at the foot of TOUBKAL, North africa’s highest peak. we have our lunch and we drive back to Marrakech, Approx. 4 hours walking time.
