By booking a trip with Atlas Trek Guide<\/b>, you (the “Lead Client”) agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.<\/p>\n

1. Booking & The Contract<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    The Contract:<\/b> A binding contract is formed once we receive your deposit and issue a formal booking confirmation<\/b> and invoice.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The Lead Client:<\/b> The person named on the booking is responsible for all payments and for ensuring all party members are aware of these terms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Accuracy:<\/b> You must provide names exactly as they appear on passports. Any costs arising from incorrect information (e.g., permits for Mt. Toubkal) are the client\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Payment Schedule<\/b><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Deposit:<\/b> A non-refundable deposit of 30%<\/b> is required to secure your trek.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Final Balance:<\/b> The remaining 70%<\/b> is due 30 days<\/b> before the start of the trip.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Late Bookings:<\/b> For bookings made within 30 days of departure, 100% payment is required immediately.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Price Lock:<\/b> Once your deposit is paid, the price of your trek is guaranteed and will not change, regardless of currency fluctuations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      3. Cancellation Policy<\/b><\/h3>\n

      Cancellations must be sent in writing to [Your Email]. The following fees apply based on the date received:<\/p>\n

        60+ days before departure:<\/b> Loss of deposit only.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        31 \u2013 59 days before departure:<\/b> 50% of total trip cost.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        30 days or less before departure:<\/b> 100% of total trip cost (no refund).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        4. Mandatory Trekking Insurance<\/b><\/h3>\n

        Trekking in the High Atlas Mountains involves inherent risks. It is a strict condition of booking<\/b> that all participants have comprehensive travel insurance.<\/p>\n

        • \n

          Required Coverage:<\/b> Your policy must<\/b> cover “High Altitude Trekking” (up to 4,167m for Toubkal), emergency medical expenses, and helicopter evacuation<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Refusal of Service:<\/b> We reserve the right to cancel your trek on the start date\u2014without refund\u2014if you cannot provide proof of adequate insurance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          5. Health, Fitness, and Safety<\/b><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • \n

            Participant Responsibility:<\/b> You acknowledge that trekking is physically demanding. You certify that you do not have any medical conditions that would make the activity dangerous for you or the group.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Guide Authority:<\/b> Our guides are certified professionals. Their decision regarding the route, weather safety, or a participant\u2019s ability to continue (due to altitude sickness or exhaustion) is final and absolute<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Medical Disclosure:<\/b> You must notify us of any allergies (especially food allergies) or chronic conditions at the time of booking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            6. Itinerary Flexibility & Force Majeure<\/b><\/h3>\n
              \n
            • \n

              Mountain Conditions:<\/b> We reserve the right to alter routes or accommodations due to weather, landslides, or government safety warnings. No refunds are given for such changes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Force Majeure:<\/b> Atlas Trek Guide is not liable for failures caused by “Acts of God,” war, strikes, pandemics, or natural disasters. In such cases, we will attempt to offer a credit for a future trip.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              7. Responsibility & Liability<\/b><\/h3>\n

                Limitation of Liability:<\/b> We act as an agent for local transport, guesthouses, and muleteers. While we choose our partners carefully, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of these third parties.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Personal Property:<\/b> We are not responsible for damage to or loss of personal items (cameras, phones, drones) during transport or while carried by mules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                8. Local Laws & Cultural Etiquette<\/b><\/h3>\n
                  \n
                • \n

                  Respect:<\/b> We operate in the traditional homelands of the Amazigh (Berber) people. Clients are expected to dress modestly in villages and respect local customs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                • \n

                  Illegal Acts:<\/b> Possession of illegal drugs or any behavior that endangers the group\u2019s welfare will result in immediate expulsion from the trek without refund.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  9. Governing Law<\/b><\/h3>\n

                  This contract is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco<\/b>.
