Your 4-day trek in Morocco begins with an early morning transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, you will meet your certified local mountain guide and mule team, who will carry the luggage during the trek.
The trek begins with a gentle climb towards Tizi n’Tamatert Pass (2,279 m). From the summit, you will have extensive panoramic views of the Imlil Valley and the surrounding High Atlas Mountains.
After a brief pause, the trek leads to the serene Imnan Valley, passing through Berber villages constructed from stone and earth. You will notice terraced farms and walnut groves as you immerse yourself in the authentic rural Moroccan experience, which is far from the tourist trails.

After breakfast, continue hiking through peaceful mountain trails that link remote villages. This section of the Atlas Mountains hiking experience provides a more cultural immersion, as you trek through villages where the lifestyle is still traditional.
The terrain involves gentle slopes of ascent and descent, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Mount Toubkal in the distance.
Lunch will be taken outdoors along the trail, as it is prepared by the mule team.
In the afternoon, you will arrive at Matat village, which is situated on a beautiful plateau overlooking the surrounding valleys.

Today is one of the most beautiful days of the trek. After breakfast, the trek goes over a mountain pass that links the Imnan area with the stunning Azzaden Valley, which is definitely one of the highlights of trekking in the Atlas Mountains.
From the pass, there are spectacular views of red soil villages, green fields, and the High Atlas peaks.
The trek down to the Azzaden Valley is a pleasant one, with plenty of opportunities for photography.

On the last day of your 4 days Atlas Mountains trek from Marrakech, you will have a leisurely morning hike in the valley. The trail will take you through walnut groves, farmed land, and some Berber villages before eventually making its way back to Imlil.
You will have the opportunity to visit some waterfalls and lookouts along the way that give you a view of the valley.
When you arrive in Imlil, you will be picked up by your driver for the journey back to Marrakech, where you will arrive in the afternoon.
