Tour Plan
Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1,740m). Begin trekking through the Mizane Valley, passing the village of Aroumd and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. Continue climbing steadily to the Refuge du Toubkal (3,207m). Dinner and overnight in the refuge. Approx. 5–6 hours trekking.
Spend the day acclimatizing with a warm-up trek to nearby peaks or passes such as Tizi n’Ouanoums. This helps prepare for the summit and offers breathtaking views of surrounding valleys and lakes. Return to the refuge for dinner and overnight. Approx. 3–4 hours trekking.
Start early to ascend Mount Toubkal. The climb takes 3–4 hours, with rewarding panoramic views from the summit across the Atlas Mountains and Sahara desert. Descend back to the refuge, then continue to Imlil. Transfer to Marrakech in the evening. Approx. 8–9 hours trekking.
